Policy Update: 10-Day Billing Extension for Valuation Services
Effective Date: April 1, 2026
A billing extension is being implemented across the Mercury Network®, CMS®, AppraisalPort™, and InspectionPort™ platforms. Under the new policy, valuation services will be considered billable on the 10th calendar day after the service is accepted.
Key Changes
Cancellation window: Orders cancelled within 10 days of acceptance will not generate billing charges
Extended timeline: Lenders, providers, and automated systems receive additional time to process routine cancellations before billing occurs
Late cancellations: Orders cancelled after the 10-day period may qualify for account credits through Customer Support
